An Indian institute filmed a professor teaching classical physics with no notes, no slides, and a green board. Almost nobody outside India watches it.

This is Classical Physics, lecture 1, taught by V. Balakrishnan at IIT Madras, published free by NPTEL, India's national open courseware programme.

Balakrishnan taught at IIT Madras for decades. Students who sat in that room describe the same thing: the whole subject held in his head, delivered in order, no paper on the podium.

Lecture 1 is the introduction. What classical mechanics claims, where the claims hold, and the exact points where they stop holding and quantum takes over.

Watch how he speaks. Complete sentences, no filler, each idea finished before the next begins. Rare in any lecture hall on any continent.

A physicist I know worked through the whole NPTEL series and rates it above the western courses he paid for.

Free on YouTube, 17 years online, low resolution, no marketing.

The teaching was never concentrated in the famous universities.

1. Work only in monthly Nifty options, not weekly.

2. Minimum capital required is ₹1.6 lakh.

3. Find the 25-delta Call option and buy 1 lot.
Example: Nifty 23,000 → 25-delta CE = 23,400 CE @ ₹130 (Buy 1)

4. Find the 25-delta Put option and buy 1 lot.
Example: 25-delta PE = 22,700 PE @ ₹120 (Buy 1)

5. Now take half of each premium.
CE ₹130 → half = ₹65
PE ₹120 → half = ₹60

6. Sell the Call option whose price is above ₹65.
Example: 23,700 CE @ ₹72 (Sell)

7. Sell the Put option whose price is above ₹60.
Example: 22,400 PE @ ₹68 (Sell)

8. Sell in double quantity:
Buy CE = 1 lot → Sell CE = 2 lots
Buy PE = 1 lot → Sell PE = 2 lots

9. Exit if profit becomes +4% or loss becomes –4%. No adjustments.

10. This gives a wide 2000–2300 point safe range, high win rate (75–80%). Works in 9 out of 12 months.

This is just an Idea, Backtest it before deploying real money.

NSE Website Trick: Find where momentum is building

Want to know where price movement is being supported by changes in Open Interest?

You can check it directly on the NSE website.

NSE → Market Data → Change in Open Interest

Now observe these 2 combinations:

1️⃣ Price ↑ + OI ↓ = Short Covering

Existing short positions may be getting closed while the price moves higher.

This can sometimes lead to sharp upward momentum as shorts exit.

2️⃣ Price ↑ + OI ↑ = Long Build-Up

Price is rising AND new positions are being added.

This can indicate fresh participation alongside price strength.

When to check?

I prefer checking this after market hours for study.

⚠️ You’ll find many Index Options in the list.
If you’re studying individual stocks, filter/focus on stock derivatives.

You’ll find this data on many platform

But why not learn to check it directly from the NSE itself?
