@JonesOnTheNBA I remember being at the 23/23 FT game against the Thunder. My friend was complaining about calls the whole time and I looked at him and said “we’re in the presence of greatness, just enjoy it”
@bballbreakdown@peacock I can't even watch on my computer because Peacock refuses to load anything beyond the "your event is starting soon" loop for me, regardless of where we are in the game.
.@HPbasketball do you think the NBA is approaching a point where rules need to be changed similar to 04 when they realized nobody wanted a finals game that finished 88-68 and then banned hand checking? What can realistically be done so that players aren’t exaggerating for calls?
@johnwsnyder@NBA If they fall outside that TO window then broadcast usually sticks with them, but that's literally random based on when the call happens. Gotta keep the advertisers happy.
.@bballbreakdown last night in OKC/GSW Shai fell down/was nudged twice while holding a dead ball. :40 in 2Q and 1:06 in 4Q. Both were ruled play on w/o travel or foul calls. Interested in your thoughts on those.
@bballbreakdown Honestly the most confusing part here is that the trail didn't huddle with center and stand up for his call. Several times I saw lead look to center for out of bounds clarification, why not do the same here when C overrules from 20 feet away?
@HPbasketball I love Presti but I don't know if I'll ever get over him taking Dieng instead of Duren in that draft. Had the chance to draft three Jalens!
@HPbasketball There's not a Thunder game that goes by without me remembering that Presti (who I love) took Ousmane Dieng (after trading assets for the pick) with Duren available. Also would have given us three Jalens in one draft. Can't pass up an opportunity like that.
