Cole was previously charged with attempted murder in 2020, but his sentence was stayed, and he was placed on probation.

The prestigious @Cambridge_Uni is standing behind one of its DEI celebrity academics accused of plagiarism. Prof Jason Arday, who became the university's youngest-ever full professor, appears to have copied many sections of his black studies dissertation from the work of a white female student.

Leftist politicians, academics and media have been defending Arday, suggesting without evidence that the revelations are motivated by racism. Arday was fast-tracked into celebrity-like status in academia and media for being a black academic.
