Sgt. Tyler Vargas-Andrews, a U.S. Marine Corps sniper, tells Congress that he was not allowed to stop the suicide bomber in Afghanistan that killed 13 service members and over 170 civilians:
"Plain and simple, we were ignored. Our expertise was disregarded. No one was held accountable for our safety... The withdrawal was a catastrophe, in my opinion. There was an inexcusable lack of accountability."
Vargas-Andrews lost his right arm, left leg, and friends in the explosion.
Jason Aldean KILLED IT with this song.
“Try That in a Small Town” ATTACKS gun control, senseless rioting, and other pieces of the radical left agenda
Aldean isn’t afraid to stand up for WHAT IS RIGHT!!!
18 years ago, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its ruling in the case of the Ten Commandments monument on the Texas Capitol Grounds.
And we WON!
Proud to have argued this case on behalf of my fellow Texans.
Faith and freedom will forever remain the foundation of our state.
⚠️⚠️⚠️BIG MESS right now on E Villa Maria Rd at Carter Creek Parkway. It appears a water line has ruptured and there is damage to roadway. Police and fire crews are here helping to redirect traffic away from the area. Villa Maria is now closed between Carter Creek and Briarcrest.
Competing in collegiate sports is the dream of a lifetime for many young women.
That dream is under threat from those who would allow biological men to compete against them.
Not in Texas.
I signed a law to protect the integrity of women’s collegiate sports.
Collegiate sports help young women thrive, learn valuable life skills, & achieve their dreams.
Allowing biological men to compete against them threatens this pathway for young women to succeed.
Today, I signed the Save Women's Sports Act to safeguard women's collegiate sports.
I signed a law in 2021 to stop biological boys competing in girls’ sports at the K-12 level.
Today, we expanded that protection to women’s collegiate sports.
I thank Rep. Swanson & Sen. Middleton for bringing the Save Women's Sports Act to my desk.

Our schools are for education, NOT indoctrination.
Parents deserve access to curriculum, school libraries, and what their children are taught.
Today, I signed four bills to deliver on that promise.
A great start, but there is more work to be done.
Congratulations to the 65th cadet class of @TexasGameWarden and State Park Police Officers!
Thank you for answering the call to keep Texans safe as they enjoy the great outdoors.
BREAKING: The Texas Senate has approved a bill that requires all public schools to display the Ten Commandments in all classrooms...
Another win for Texas!!
