Like many other industries, likely consolidation coming in craft beer, per @BrewersStats . Interesting point about the "roll up strategy"

Craft Beer share of sales shrinking, and total volume still down big vs 2019. The other interesting trend to watch is the dichotomy of low abv / na vs bigger big beers and milkshake double ipas

Is this the death of seltzer? More importantly, how big will the lash be from the bull whip of similar moves across big breweries?

1 of 15: It has been hard to convey, through anecdotes or data, how bizarre the U.S. housing market has become. For example, a Bethesda, Maryland homebuyer working with @Redfin included in her written offer a pledge to name her first-born child after the seller. She lost.
@Camp4 Makes sense, and I do think the type of employees who would relocate (current EEs) or seek out remote work (new EEs) would likely cluster in similar mid-size urban areas without needing to pay up for prime downtown real estate
And it seems very clear each day that we are just starting to see the potential of each platform but still early days, with $FB obviously being a bit more mature
The value of the underlying network protocol seems to be more tied to the value of what is created on top of it rather than revenue, cash flows, or other traditional valuation metrics
Interesting how on the surface things aren't *that* terrible, but averages also gloss over lots of the more minute details. Would love to see more on impacts of negative trends like can supply shortages and taproom closures @BrewersStats
Here's a post recapping some of the ways at-the-brewery sales changed in 2020 and what that means for 2021, using both our annual survey and other data sources (shoutout to @arryved_pos).

Lots of parallels to the craft beer industry, notably online sales accounting for an outsized portion of all sales and the wave of supporting locally run SMB https://t.co/4GqMAfh2Zn
@thenewb@willschoebs@ProtagorasTO@LuculentCap@SecretCapital_ But will there be sustained demand for a homogenized selection of "restaurants" to make the economics really work? I think brands matter and that's the biggest hurdle for prospective cloud kitchens
