I'm not sure why you're arguing with me. I'm saying hire more public school teachers and fewer admin+principals. Get unnecessary regulations out of the way. Stop the grift of these "non profits" profiting off our public school system. Hold school leaders accountable.

What about that do you disagree with? Or, do you think we should stay the course. Keep throwing money at the schools (not kids) and keep the administrative class well paid?

Let's talk about "rights" at Iowa City Public Schools:

*A student fired a toy gun at my kid's school. The district scrubbed the websites documenting disciplinary policies for toy guns.

*My pre-k daughter was assaulted and bullied on a daily basis. The principal tried to hide this from us.

*The admin misspent an unauthorized $38,000,000. No one is being held accountable.
