Thanks to @CharlieMarlow_ for the opportunity to share my love of baseball and music with the great people of St. Louis...Stay Hungry & Have Faith!!! ⚾️🎹
We’re all missing @Cardinals baseball on what should’ve been Opening Day. So my next door neighbor, talented musician @jtstreiff, wants to bring you all some “Here Comes the King.” @FOX2now
The Rays scored 6 runs in the 6th inning
The Cardinals scored 8 runs in the 6th inning
This was the 2nd Opening Day game in MLB history where both teams scored 6+ runs in the same inning, joining:
4/19/1890 Boston Beaneaters & Brooklyn Bridegrooms, 3rd inning

This is the interview Donald Trump didn’t want you to see.
His FCC refused to air my interview with Stephen Colbert.
Trump is worried we’re about to flip Texas.
Perhaps the Cardinals nailed this trade, we'll find out as info emerges, but regardless, it's a shame things for the Cardinals got to a point where a player like Brendan Donovan had to be traded away.
At another time, he would've had 'Cardinal for life' written all over him.
The Seattle Mariners are nearing a deal to acquire IF/OF Brendan Donovan from the St. Louis Cardinals as part of a three-way trade that also includes Tampa Bay, sources tell ESPN. A deal that had been considered for weeks would finally land Seattle a versatile impact bat.
2/2 However, it doesn't excuse poor people management and disrespect to your fellow human whatsoever. It's a shame that things had to end like this for Shildt, in terms of his baseball career. I hope brighter days are ahead.
(1/2) This somewhat viral Tweet made the rounds during the Cardinals putrid 2023 season, and Shildt's firing was still under a lot of secrecy and skepticism. In light of recent events, I stand by the opinion that he loved the Cardinals and loves baseball to his core.
Am I the only #STLCards fan that liked Mike Shildt and thought he was unfairly terminated? He focused solely on fundamental baseball and had an incredible amount of respect for the organization. Most likely one of the biggest mistakes this FO has ever made.
.@UncleCharlie50 thinks the Cardinals will be playing for a Wild Card spot late in September 👀
The former St. Louis ace explains his thought process and chimes in on Jordan Walker putting it together as of late.
The Hanoi episode of Parts Unknown is undoubtedly the greatest episode of travel oriented programming ever produced. Even without the iconic interview with President Obama, it is a cinematic masterpiece across the board.
The St. Louis Cardinals are in second place in the NL Central and are legitimately fun to watch. How? They've turned into the best defensive team in baseball. Free at ESPN: How they did it, and how it could have a significant effect on the trade deadline: https://t.co/UOjq4dPbGe
