There's absolutely nothing more pleasing than watching yourself do the things you said you'd do. I really value honouring the promises l've made to myself.
If they make everyone hate each other, race, gender, political party, whatever, everyone will be isolated during the collapse. No one will survive without meaningful relationships, love, and community.

Fathers always swear the mother is teaching their kids to hate them. Children aren’t oblivious. They’re constantly observing, absorbing, and forming their own opinions. They remember how you treated them, how you treated their mother, and most importantly, how you made them feel.
I think a big reason I don’t mourn the end of connections for too long is because they usually were always clearly going to end. Whether it be 1 month, 1 year, or 10 years. I can usually see traits that would’ve eventually had me leaving so, better sooner than later.
