I haven't had any issues with the rise of highly capable models, which go far beyond my own capacity to understand. It's perhaps much easier to adapt to such a perspective when you are an average mathematician and you've always felt part of a community, rather than being the most celebrated individual.
Over the past year, I've felt more productive than ever and embraced the possibility of connecting the dots with others, with models, with whatever seems necessary.
Be part of the hive mind, rather than pretending to be a self-proclaimed mastermind. There is no mastermind. We are a group of humans empowered by civilization, which is itself an accumulation of knowledge from thousands of generations of individual humans.

@KurtisCarman You’re right, thank you 🙏 I have to learn to relax, I still burned my brain on 5 projects at the same time today, to burn my codex resets before cancellation, with a opus 5.5 composing symphonies for my local AI 🤯
@AGDugin 72.3% of the French (61% registered) did not vote for Macron in the second round of the last presidential elections, and 66.1% in the previous one 🤷♂️ The reality of today’s France is darker than you think
