Why is it that @alfosignorini , a gay man with the power of national primetime TV at his fingertips, has stood silent as Zeudi Di Palma (a bisexual woman) is gaslit, humiliated, and emotionally broken on his show?

Week after week, we see Zeudi isolated and accused of “manipulating” her identity, yet the show’s host, who knows all too well the weight of marginalization, chooses not to step in. Instead, disproportionate empathy and airtime are gifted to an ex-gay male contestant, subtly reinforcing a hierarchy of whose queer experience is palatable, and whose is disposable.

This isn’t about personal bias, it’s systemic. It speaks to a long-standing fracture within queer spaces, where bi women are often left unsupported by structures meant to champion all of us. It echoes in LGBTQ+ history, where bisexual erasure thrives even in spaces labeled “inclusive.” The selective outrage and selective empathy we see here aren’t new but they are unacceptable in 2025.

@alfosignorini , how do you reconcile defending the integrity of LGBTQ+ narratives while standing idle as Zeudi’s story is twisted into a spectacle of shame?

Is queer solidarity only transactional? Is it conditional on how digestible someone’s pain is to the majority?

Zeudi carried the voices of queer youth from 130+ countries, youth who now watch her collapse under the weight of televised betrayal. And yet, production and hosting have framed her suffering as entertainment, while others are protected.

Your silence is loud.

Tonight is devastating.

Zeudi isn’t just crying for herself.. she’s crying for every person who saw their reflection in her. For every young person from the 130+ countries where fans have counted love and support, including places where being openly queer means risking your life, your freedom, or your family.
Zeudi gave those people hope. She gave voice to those who have no platform, no safety net, no one to say “I see you.”

To see her broken like this and humiliated, abandoned, erased on national television feels like watching a message being broadcast globally: “Don’t speak up. Don’t be yourself. Stay silent.”
And that is beyond cruel.

To Zeudi’s mother, @Mariarosar38182 who stood by her and defended her with courage: know that your daughter is not alone. The love she’s ignited across the world cannot be undone by a show that chose complicity over integrity.

To #Zeudiners , from every continent, many from countries where loving who you love is illegal or deadly, you are seen.
Zeudi gave you visibility and dignity. Her tears tonight are heavy, but they will not silence her voice, or yours.

To @glaad @HRC @PinkNews @ILGAWORLD @lgbtqnation @nowthisisliving this is not just another reality TV scandal. This is the destruction of a symbol for people who needed her courage, her quiet strength, and her unwavering kindness to believe they, too, deserve to be seen.

Zeudi stood tall while being gaslit, humiliated, and attacked. She showed how to walk with grace when surrounded by cruelty. And that matters.

Silencing her now silences millions.
But we won’t let that happen.
We will carry her voice, her story, and her strength forward, louder and louder.

This is about survival. About representation. About telling every queer person in every dark corner of this world: “You are valid. You are worthy. And no show can take that away from you.”
