I suffer from this condition. I am interested in how many of you like me have received no treatment from the NHS. FND is as common as Parkinson’s Disease yet a staggering amount of NHS Health Boards don't recognise the condition. They won't diagnose or treat it. 1/3
@JamesTitcombe Perhaps if the annual spend was double there would be less cases to pay out for. Staff are leaving in droves because they feel undervalued unsupported and sometimes unsafe. The government wants the NHS to fail so it can be privatized. Staff do not come to work to cause harm
We didn't have parties to "boost morale"
We didn't have quiz nights
We didn't have champagne
We watched our colleagues die though
We were STEEPED in death
We kept going
We had to
We kept on
So don't you DARE say your parties were "necessary" @borisjohnson
You make me sick.
Has one of our colleagues or teams given you top notch care or treatment? Why not nominate them for our Patient’s Choice Award? Deadline for nominating is March 17 - it’s really quick an easy so what are you waiting for?

Wow definitely thought provoking. When something is reported by a service user it's a complaint, when it's reported by staff it's an incident?? Why is that?? Are they handled differently?? Feedback in maternity services provides inaccurate data depending outcomes #changeisneeded
@DHSCgovuk @NHSDigital Meaning what!? In hospital as patients? Or employed to work in hospitals? Just because there are greater numbers doesn't mean anything without context - how many are part time? What roles are they employed in?? Research and figures mean nothing without context
@GillWaltonRCM@patcullen9 it was announced today that bin men on the Wirral have been awarded a 15% pay increase backdated to April. The Barristers went on strike and we're awarded 15% backdated 6 months. Will you be highlighting these at upcoming events?? #fairpayfornhs
@bbcquestiontime Government failure - they have failed to enter into talks and engage with the unions. Jacob RM is coming up with these figures that are incorrect. Retention and recruitment are part of the issue
@BBCBreakfast why can the government afford to give barristers a 15% pay increase without question but will not even enter into talks with nurses and midwives about pay and working conditions??
Midwives are marching in various locations 21st March - we want to be able to provide safe care for women and families. Celebrities and people in the public eye please help - retweet /attend! we need to be heard!! Everyones life has been touched by a midwife!! #marchwithmidwives
We are about to experience a winter in the NHS where a lot of chickens will come home to roost.
Nursing shortages. Bed shortages. Collapse of community nursing services. Care home crisis. GP shortages.
Strap in.
@BorisJohnson Putting more funding in will not stop staff leaving because they are burnt out and under paid and struggling to pay bills because your 3% pay rise is in fact 1.5% and we are still not meeting the cost of living increases! Yes social care reforms are needed but you are....
