How can we further increase the accuracy of LLM-powered question answering systems? Ontologies to the rescue!
That is the conclusion of the latest research coming from the @datadotworld AI Lab with @WorkingOntology

𧡠describing the results
βWe need to surround non-deterministic models with strong, deterministic system design, human controls, and reliable operating procedures, and establish industry standards where existing ones are insufficient.β No sh** sherlock.
Sometimes we need to state the obvious over and over again.
@wohnjalker@linkedktk Yup!!! Applications come and go. And will now more and more. The data, knowledge and the workflows/decision process is what sticks.
Building the ontology editor I've always wanted: conversational, understands modeling decisions, proposes changes, visualizes the ontology. Very light, browser based, no backend storage, export and import RDF.
Reply/dm me if you want to test this out. Just note that I did this on my phone and spent probably 1 hour on it. It's truly amazing what you can do with AI!

Ontologies and knowledge graphs are now everywhere. Welcome to the club. Seriously! Many have been working on this for decades & were asked: βWhat is this even for?β
Iβm glad the hype arrived. Now please donβt ruin it. Understand when they help and not. And remember: βI donβt knowβ is a valid answer.
