I made this podcast for #ALM101 during the last summer trimester.
I got an almost perfect grade (which was awesome!) so am happy to pass on any tricks/tips/advice to any students doing it this semester.

Just finished recording a podcast with Senator @AndrewBartlett
Great hearing a politician’s perspective how social media has impacted politics positively and negatively over the last two decades.

@EmilyAtDeakin I really like using Pro Tools to edit audio as it’s something I use when producing music. It’s not free but being a Deakin student you get a significant discount that, for me, makes it well worth the price.

At one point my online identity consisted of being the singer in a satirical emo band. 🖤❤️🩹🖤

Whilst the truth is somewhere in between, it’s worth noting that tyrants and dictators always turn off social media as a first course of action when there are rebellions against their rule.
Reflecting on the arguments by Lanier and Gauntlett how social media is impacting humanity and our relationships.
Lanier argues social media is training us to become robotic in our pavloavian responses.
Garnier says that social media is a democratising force for good. #ALM101
Adding finishing touches to my Wordpress site had me reflecting on what aspects of my work and life I’m most proud of, and what goals I still want to achieve.

@LMgoestoDeakin Looks great but “BLOG” and “LATEST” are in uppercase but “Home” and “thepicknpoop” are lowercase.
Dunno if it’s a style choice but it looked weird to me. :)
