Very pleased to report that @Essex_CC Highways crews are expected to be in #Chelmsford West W/C 2nd December 2024 carrying out repairs. They will be fixing issues on Beeches Road, Henry Road, Coval Avenue and Norton Road as part of the ECC Members’ Highway Initiative.

Improvements to the road surface on #Parkway, #Chelmsford, are on track to complete southbound section on 1 Nov.
Due to local emergency gas works, plans are delayed for northbound until 2025.
This delay is to avoid inconvenience caused by overlapping works in the city centre.

Pleased the sale of disposable #vapes to be banned in Eng from June.
These vapes are difficult to recycle & end up in landfill, where batteries leak battery #acid, #lithium, & #mercury.
In 2022, vapes were discarded containing 40 + tonnes of lithium, enough to power 5,000 EV’s. https://t.co/Bdlfg1zSDy
