Many leftists on social media are celebrating that someone hurled a drink in the face of @Nigel_Farage today as he was campaigning in Clacton, Essex. They're reveling in the fear that a victim feels when being hit in the eyes with an unknown liquid—in a country that suffers acid attacks. The celebrations are emblematic of a level of political violence that the left tolerates and desires on their political opponents.

There’s nothing that fills me with hate like videos of left wing protestors. If I just look at policy I see Democrats and Republicans both doing some bad things, and there are parts of the GOP coalition I really dislike. But on an emotional level, nothing compares to this.

I think many voters are the same way. The effeminate, limp, shrill aggression. Republicans are in many ways flawed and want to do evil things. But seeing these people with their banana allergies and demands for food delivery, knowing that elite schools selected for this to be the next generation of the ruling class. It just puts things in a different perspective.

These protests will die down and you will notice that as the memory fades I go back to talking about how much Republicans suck again. DeSantis literally just signed a law requiring humanity to continue torturing animals even if technology gives us a way out. Emotions can’t govern us completely, Republicans are still the “torture animals so you can feel like a man” party and there’s no way you can pretend that anyone who wants to ban lab grown meat isn’t evil. But to remain fully human we must allow some room for our emotions, while making sure that they are based in healthy instincts. And few things can be as healthy as hatred of the academic left.

Just one story of many that demonstrate the moral idiocy of those who want to make any kind of equivalence between the two sides in this war. Islamists need to be dealt with severely and harshly. Cops don't legitimize criminals when negotiating with them, and they don't reward hostage taking. This has to be a rule all civilized states stick to. Worrying about the civilians in these backwards societies in the meantime is a sure path to end up being ruled by savages.

Public opinion in the Middle East works the exact opposite of the way the ceasefire crowd thinks.

Palestinian popularity of Hamas increased right after October 7 when they kidnapped women to rape.

As the war has dragged on and the Palestinians suffer more, the popularity of Hamas has decreased.

People who think Israel can win goodwill by being nice to the Palestinians are deluded.

Usaram e abusaram dessa rede (única que eles tem relevância) que deu voz e alcance pra desmonetizarem (segundos eles) milhões de reais em publicidade pra "extremistas". Exatamente o oposto de qualquer acusação que eles possam fazer a plataforma.

Eu nem vou entrar muito no mérito disso ser uma entidade com financiamento estrangeiro, que tá disposta a destruir qualquer coisa, não pelo que estes fizeram, mas apenas pra autopromoção (Como o X é o assunto do momento e o que justifica a existência dessa entidade é "desmonetizar", não precisa de critério e justificativa se inventa, o importante é se envolver no debate atual).

Mas isso evidência como essas pessoas (e entidades) são autoritários por natureza. Eles não está sendo perseguidos, silenciados, excluídos, nem nada do tipo. O problema pra eles atualmente é a mera existência de uma rede social que ainda permita a coexistência de várias linhas de pensamento, e como todos os esforços pra dobrar essa rede as regras deles não surtem efeito porque tem forte rejeição da maioria, é preferível pra eles implodir a própria plataforma onde eles tem espaço e liberdade.

A essa altura já tá bem claro que algumas pessoas não vão descansar enquanto o único tipo de interação online que você possa ter, são em redes e plataformas onde você é apenas um espectador distante dos fatos. Quer dar sua opinião, discordar, comentar ou fazer parte do assunto do momento? Bom, faça isso no campo de comentários do G1, num post do Instagram ou nos vídeos do YouTube, onde você não oferece "risco", nenhum.

Raciocine por um momento e veja se existe alguma plausibilidade em pessoas que se autodenominam defensores da democracia e dos seus direitos, estarem fazendo um esforço descomunal para fechar uma rede social de característica única e com 20 milhões de brasileiros, em troca de prejudicar algumas dezenas de desafetos ideológicos.

Meu filho chegou na pracinha pra jogar e os garotos disseram que ele não podia jogar pq ele era branco.
