@Donnelly4Ohio @CBHessick Plea deals can be fair, if..and only if..the Judge inquires of the Defendant what occurred & if the narrative does not match the charges, refuse to accept the plea. I had the issue on a rape charge, and once the youth allocuted, i refused the plea. Prosecutor dismissed the case.

@clevelanddotcom For the past 6-years, the Laborers Union, Local 860, tried to increase the pay for the Probation & Detention Center Officers and Clerk's Office, to no avail. The Court refused.
Now that the Court is trying to break the union, the members receive a livable wage. 2 riots later?
