While a typical American pays 6.2% on every dollar they earn throughout the entire year, ultra-high earners ( millionaires and billionaires) cease paying Social Security taxes very early in the calendar year. This means their effective Social Security tax rate drops to a fraction of a percent overall.

They need to pay 6.2% of every dollar they make.

The American people are sick and tired of their government working for the wealthiest people in this country while just trying to survive.

Tax the rich, and Social Security and Medicare can be saved.
