1. What Are Validator Nodes, and What Is the Role of 1 ITL?

System change: When the Open Mainnet is officially launched, mobile mining will come to an end. After that, the network is expected to move toward a Validator Node / Delegation system.

Minimum requirement: Unlike many other blockchains that may require thousands of dollars or a large amount of tokens to participate in network validation, InterLink has set the minimum participation requirement at just 1 ITL.

Understanding the purpose: This may help explain why the 10M ITL campaign Airdrop allocated exactly 1 ITL, rather than more or less. The idea is that every Linker can hold this minimum amount and potentially use it in the future to participate as a delegate or participant in the network’s validation system.

2. The Philosophy of “Inclusive and Equal Distribution”
