@Bamz_SM4_ever @juliegrizzy So sorry that you’ve had to deal with this. I’m two cancers in, with a colostomy bag—all while in my 50s, which I just left.
@amstel89 I’m laughing, but it’s wayy scary. Our IT guy, a smart and otherwise lovely fellow, is eagerly returning to Moscow for good with his wife in a few years. They think Putin is a great patriot and nationalist who makes them feel safe. “But Ukraine?”, I ask. “No big deal.”Oy. Vey.
@amstel89 Couldn’t agree more. They are useless red herrings that deprive innocent people while bouncing off that rotten dictator’s back like so much dust in the wind. But then again: What CAN the Biden Admin et al realistically accomplish? Sending our troops in to die? Um, no.
@sativabia So awesome. This is neither marathon nor sprint; there will be challenges and triumphs on your personal path—but have faith, for that brambled path WILL lead to a clearing. I have fought off two cancers in my 50s, Sadie. I get the journey. Feel the HUGE love and support. 👏🙏👏!
@oldgreymare52 @kirumb Me, too. Rectal cancer in 2014 and eventual colostomy in late 2017. Life-changing and harrowing. Then unrelated lumpectomy in 2019 and Akkadian the hideous treatments. Sucks but it is 2022, and here I am! Good luck and keep the faith; you will be fine!
@CbCynth What strength you must summon to survive this diurnal tsunami of pain and loss. Say his name out loud to be written on the wind and to fly across the endless sky. In this way, he is immortalized. No words to fix this. Just sending love, hugs, sorrow. Live life bravely. He knows.
@brdavissr After two major, unrelated cancers in less than eight years, I can too well understand your terrifying and terrible disappointment. My heart and prayers are with you, truly and sincerely. Here to talk, if you need someone who gets it. You will beat this beast as you did before!
