Pray with me (Philippians 4)
October 9, 2025
Father in Heaven,
You are the God of peace who calms every anxious heart. Today, I bring before You all my worries, my fears, and the noise that tries to steal my focus. I choose to rejoice in You, not because my circumstances are easy, but because You never change. You are good, You are faithful, and You are near to all who call on You.
Lord, teach me not to be anxious about anything, but in everything, through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, to make my requests known to You. I thank You that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let that peace rule me from the inside out, even when the world around me shakes.
Help me, Lord, to fix my thoughts on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy. When my mind drifts toward fear or negativity, bring me back to Your truth. Let my life be marked by contentment, knowing that in every situation, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Provide for my needs according to Your riches in glory, and make me generous toward others as a reflection of Your provision in my life. Thank You for being my source, my supply, and my peace.
To You be glory forever and ever.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
A lot of people are confused about Israel because they’re listening to people instead of reading God‘s word. For those of you who think that there is no future for Israel, I do intend to disappoint you by showing you what the Bible has to say in its own words.
Notice the expositional constancy between the book of Ezekiel, as God speaks, and the book of John, as God speaks.
“And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God to the shepherds: “Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks? 3 You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool; you slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock. 4 The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sought what was lost; but with force and [a]cruelty you have ruled them. 5 So they were scattered because there was no shepherd; and they became food for all the beasts of the field when they were scattered. 6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill; yes, My flock was scattered over the whole face of the earth, and no one was seeking or searching for them.” 7 ‘Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: 8 “As I live,” says the Lord God, “surely because My flock became a prey, and My flock became food for every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, nor did My shepherds search for My flock, but the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock”— 9 therefore, O shepherds, hear the word of the Lord! 10 Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require My flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them. For thus says the Lord God: “Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. 12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. 13 And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14 I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. 15 I will feed My flock, and I will make them lie down,” says the Lord God. 16 “I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them in judgment.” -Ezekiel 34
0 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6 Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.
7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 12 But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. 13 The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. 15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. - John 10
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”
The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
Lamentations 3:22-26
On this two year anniversary of 10/07, I remain deeply proud to stand with Israel.
Finally, there’s a clear path to peace. This awful war must end.
The free world should demand Hamas to accept this plan and free the hostages.
I hope Netflix gets the message! Their stock prices dropped again last week with the biggest decline since April. Breitbart News reported, “Netflix has been struggling as it chooses to stream animated programs that expose small children to homosexuality, gay kisses, and a little boy in a dress prancing around for his gay dads.” Their membership started to slide last month after one of their cartoon creator’s smeared Charlie Kirk following his murder. Now @ElonMusk is calling them out for featuring a transgender character in a cartoon rated for children as young as 7! He’s urging people to end their Netflix subscriptions, posting: “Cancel Netflix for the health of your kids.” He’s right. This type of content is pushing an ungodly and dangerous agenda on our children and grandchildren. Say No! https://t.co/pwLTZxTKVE
