You worked hard for a long time to save the money that would allow you to fulfill a dream.

You gave it your all, prepared, pushed yourself to the limit… and just before reaching it, someone took it from you.
Not because it was theirs.
Not because they were better.
Simply… because they cheated.

The moment turns bitter. Painful. Unfair.
And still, you get back up.
You work again.
You keep chasing your dream.

A year later, some evidence comes to light; evidence that could return to your hands what was taken from you.
And no, it wouldn’t be a gift.
It was something you had already earned. It would be justice.

To reject it would be to become an accomplice in the injustice against yourself. It would mean not valuing your own effort. Because that was yours from the very beginning.

And even though it hurt, you earned it. With sweat. With merit. With integrity.

You’ll have new chances to live that moment as you deserve. But never walk away from what’s rightfully yours, even if it doesn’t come the way you dreamed.
Let your emotional intelligence never be the reason you refuse what belongs to you by right: what you earned. On the contrary, let it be the strength that helps you embrace it with dignity, without guilt, without doubt.

If proven true, the same applies to the first driver who crossed the finish line at the #Indy500 2024 in a legal car.

Even if someone else enjoyed the glory for a while, the day it’s rightfully awarded, it will be celebrated the way it always should have been. But for the career and future of a driver, it would now be ✌🏼 instead of 1.

That -far from any romanticism- is pure gold among legends. And it carries none of the stains that will remain on the other side’s legacy… if no sanction is given. ✍🏼
