Was rewatching some early episodes of The Boys, and it really reminded me how smart, calculated, and terrifying Homelander used to be.

By Seasons 4 and 5, he feels like a shell of that character.

It feels like some of the best writing from Seasons 1-3 got lost along the way. Still enjoyed the ride, but man, what could have been.
