"I think Arizonans see through this stuff that's presented by Republicans in the state of Arizona. You know, not the Republican Party, the normal John McCain Republicans but the Donald Trump, you know, Republicans," Kelly said during an appearance on MSNBC.

"And I'm going to have an opportunity here to go down to the border with the vice president here on Friday," he continued. "I'm excited that she's going to be there. Get to show her the Arizona border, get to talk about an issue that she really cares about, that she's worked hard on while in the White House as vice president."

"You know she worked with us to try to pass a bipartisan border bill," he added. "Democrats and Republicans coming together but Donald Trump wouldn't allow my Senate colleagues, the Republicans in the Senate to do anything on this issue, told them that they couldn't vote for it. So they ran away from it."

"When she's president we can sign that legislation into law," he said.

These are cold hard facts. Trump torpedoed the bill because he didn't want to hand the Democrats a win on the border issue. He will hurt this country at every turn if it means he can help himself.

The truth is that Trump has zero interest in solving problems, he just wants to stir up anger around them to attract votes. It's not going to work. The American people see right through his conman behavior.
