Medallion's humming... that can only mean one thing! It's time to announce The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Songs of the Past! ⚔️
This brand new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will take you to the Path with Geralt of Rivia once more. It’s being co-developed with @Fools_Theory and is coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 in 2027. Stay tuned for more information in late summer. ⏰
@kiwitalkz@NintyPrime I mean, if your selling point is accessibility for artists and small teams, which don’t necessarily have the budget or means to have dedicated engine people, then you can’t really also go ahead and blame them for not having those people go in and fix these issues.
@kiwitalkz@NintyPrime At this point though it’s so common that you might as well just argue that UE5 itself was architected and designed in a way that prioritizes this content centric unoptimized development approach. It is a core flaw of UE5 as a product if this is the path of least resistance.
@videotech This is genuinely starting to sound like Dutch trying to convince the gang to hold onto their faith in him 😭 ONE MORE SCORE AND WE’LL BE IN TAHITI !
@disclosure2x@KaptainKrunch97 I mean RDR2 is very good on that count as well I think especially since it borrows so much from Max Payne 3 like the gore
@disclosure2x@KaptainKrunch97 Fair but vanilla RDR2 lets you play human football/soccer with NPCs by literally just running into them hard enough. Not only is that not realistic at all it’s also much more fun than GTA IV lol
@RichardOcelot Maybe he relapsed and needed another reminder. It happens, especially with people of that sort. On top of that they very much like to pick and choose what things remain canon from the Netflix series so do with that as you will.
welp, an email from Game Informer to their readers have some mysterious text...
[REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] will be revealing its cover next week...
?[GRAND] [THEFT] [AUTO] [VI]?
with the playstation stuff happening too, this likely means news next week.
@andkalysh@__silent_ Not exactly relevant to my point. I’m saying most devs still take PS4 tech and try to stick RT on top, instead of building their tech with RT in mind from the beginning. Once they start doing the latter instead of the former we’ll see the benefits even on lesser hardware.
