The verdict landed exactly as the evidence required.

Karmelo Anthony…now 19…has been caged for 35 years after a Collin County jury rejected his self-defense claim and the newly released surveillance footage confirmed what any honest observer already knew: he ran.

He fled the scene of the stabbing like the predator he is…tripping over bleachers in the unmistakable panic of a man who understood the weight of what he had just done.

The bodycam captured the rest…the sobbing…the familiar refrain of every cornered thug when the system declines to grant him special exemption. “He put his hands on me.”

A shove. Not deadly force.

Not license for the blade he carried into a school event and plunged into the chest of a 17-year-old rival.

Yet the deeper pathology is not confined to the cage. It spills into the streets and the timelines where Anthony’s thug ecosystem now directs its impotent fury at white skin. Random assaults.

Targeted rage.

The classic displacement of a subculture that cannot metabolize accountability when the narrative of perpetual victimhood collides with video evidence and equal application of law.

They made this little predator their savior.

When the footage shattered the myth…they did not examine their own script.

They turned outward…onto the perennial scapegoat…white faces who share nothing with the verdict except the color of their skin and the refusal of the system to bend to tribal demands.

This is the behavioral signature of a closed loop.

The individual act…armed escalation over minor affront…is the predictable output of honor culture fused with neurological wiring shaped by chronic violence…paternal absence…and cultural glorification of the “stepper” who answers disrespect with steel.

The chorus that defends it…that reframes conviction as racism and translates thwarted entitlement into violence against innocents…reveals the collective narcissism and low-agency pathology that sustains the entire ecosystem.

Loyalty to the tribe overrides empirical reality. The video becomes the enemy. The jury becomes the oppressor.

White skin becomes the available target for displaced aggression.

In the piece that follows I bring forensic precision and criminal profiling to the autopsy.

We will trace the reactive aggression of the offender…the instrumental choice to carry the weapon…the flight response that betrays consciousness of guilt rather than righteous self-defense.

We will dissect the subculture’s selection pressures…the environments that attenuate prefrontal regulation while hyper-sensitizing the amygdala to status threat…the cultural machinery that converts a shove into lethal force and then shields the perpetrator with grievance.

And we will name without apology the low-life scum whose defense of the thug exposes the ineradicable rot: an inability to update beliefs when facts contradict the script…a substitution of tribal loyalty for individual moral agency…and the translation of personal and collective failure into violence against the out-group.

This is not isolated tragedy at a Texas track meet.

It is the output of a deeper architecture…one that rewards impulsivity…punishes restraint…and treats equal justice as existential attack.

The concrete box is the correct response to the individual predator.

The demolition of the enabling narrative…the refusal to grant exemption to thug pathology…is the necessary response to the chorus.

Anything less simply guarantees the next blade…the next flight…the next mob demanding that reality subordinate itself to feelings and that white skin pay the price for dysfunction it did not create.

Alan Greenspan died today, and the man who spent two decades inflating bubbles will be eulogized as a maestro. Fitting, because he understood exactly what he was doing.

In 1966 a younger Greenspan wrote an essay called "Gold and Economic Freedom." He laid out the case with precision. The gold standard protected savers from confiscation by inflation. Welfare statists hated gold because it stood in the way of their deficits. He wrote that the abandonment of gold made deficit spending a "scheme for the hidden confiscation of wealth." He was right. He knew it. Then he took the job running the printing press.

From August 1987 to January 2006 Greenspan sat atop the Federal Reserve and did the opposite of everything that essay defended. After the 1987 crash he flooded the banks with liquidity and taught a generation of traders that the central bank would catch them every time they fell. They named the reflex after him: the Greenspan put. He cut the federal funds rate to 1 percent by June 2003 and held it there, and you watched housing prices detach from any sane relationship to income. Mortgage credit gushed. He went on television in February 2004 and suggested Americans consider adjustable-rate mortgages, roughly eighteen months before he started hiking rates into those very borrowers. The man who warned in 1966 about the hidden confiscation of wealth engineered the largest credit distortion in postwar history.

Then came the apology that wasn't one. In October 2008, sitting before Congress as the wreckage smoked, Greenspan confessed he had found "a flaw" in his model of how the world worked. He was "shocked" that lenders had not policed themselves. You don't get to spend twenty years pricing risk at zero and then act surprised when men respond to the incentives you built. Any committee of economists cannot set the price of money better than a market can.

Greenspan knew the answer at 40 and spent the next half century pretending he'd forgotten it. The savers he warned about in 1966 paid for that performance.

“Katie was killed by an illegal immigrant...but gun violence...”

I have heard this response many times, and I genuinely do not understand what it has to do with the way my daughter Katie died.

First responders had to pry open the destroyed vehicle she was a passenger in and struggle to pull her lifeless body from the wreckage after an illegal immigrant driving drunk, with too many red flags to list in this post, crashed into them.

Illinois still gave him credentials to drive on our roads and live in our communities?

Yet somehow, the conversation immediately pivots to “gun violence.”

That response creates a false equivalence.

Acknowledging that Katie was killed because of preventable immigration and public safety failures does not minimize the tragedy of gun violence any more than discussing gun violence minimizes the pain of families who have lost loved ones to drunk driving, addiction, or other preventable causes.

We do not honor victims by forcing every tragedy into the same political narrative.
We honor them by honestly confronting the specific circumstances that led to their deaths and holding accountable those responsible for the policies that made those circumstances possible.

Let me be clear: losing a child in any way is horrific. Every parent who buries a son or daughter carries a pain no family should ever have to endure.

But when a child is lost because of preventable public policy failures pursued for political gain, that burden becomes even heavier.

When leaders knowingly ignore foreseeable risks, dismiss legitimate concerns, and prioritize ideology over public safety, they are making choices that carry real-world consequences for innocent families.

Katie's death was not an unavoidable tragedy.
It was preventable.

If anything, the people shouting this at me should recognize we likely share the same concern: politicians whose reckless policies create environments where public safety continues to deteriorate in multiple ways at once.

When governments allow millions of people to enter the country with inadequate vetting, no meaningful health screenings, and little regard for existing immigration laws, they accept risks on behalf of American families without their consent.

Some people who come here seek a better life.
But any serious person understands that among millions of unvetted entrants, many will come with harmful intentions, criminal histories, or dangerous behaviors.

Those risks are magnified when governments incentivize, fund, and shield unlawful presence while dismissing legitimate public safety concerns as political inconveniences.

What never made sense to me is why some of the same voices who demand accountability for "gun violence" refuse to acknowledge the role policy failures play in crimes committed by those who should not have been here in the first place.

Why is one form of preventable violence treated as urgent while another is ignored because it conflicts with a preferred political narrative?

And why is every public safety problem presented as having only one acceptable solution: restricting the rights of law-abiding citizens?

That decades-old one-trick-pony approach has clearly not solved the problem.

Real public safety begins with intellectual honesty.

Different causes of violence require different solutions, and pretending otherwise serves politics, not families.

Shouldn't we be bolder, more creative, and more curious about why violence keeps happening in the first place?

Who is behind the violence?
How are repeat offenders cycling endlessly through the system?
Why are so many violent offenders already known to authorities?

Why are broken families, addiction, gangs, failing schools, mental health collapse, and cultural decay so often ignored in favor of simplistic political slogans?

Real public safety problems are multifaceted.

Serious people should be willing to confront all of it, not demand one ideological solution while everything continues to get worse.

Meanwhile, my daughter Katie is still gone.

They present a peaceful, tolerant version of Islam to soldiers and the public while the actual doctrine commands dominance and does not leave non-Muslims alone.

And we allow it.

We give these imams access to our military bases and chapels so they can run dawah on our own troops while pretending it’s just “religious accommodation.”

This is how civilizations get conquered from within, by allowing the enemy to operate freely under the cover of our own tolerance and political correctness.

Evil is rather the force that tries to take you off-track. To pull you away from becoming yourself, to push you into making fear-based decisions over and over.
Like a vampire, it can only come in if invited. Every insecure feeling one wants to avoid, every fear one wants to cover over, every button pushed, becomes a broken window in your house. This force can then come in through these broken windows and operate through you, pulling both you and those around you down as far as possible.

Taking the people who rarely get invited to parties, routinely feel they don’t measure up, are repeatedly resentful, and those who are eaten with jealousy, are its most recent and obvious victims.
It has twisted them inside to attack anyone having a good time, anyone feeling joy, anyone feeling grateful and content, anyone feeling proud of their family or country, anyone tapping into acknowledgement that goodness flows through life at all times.

This twisting and attacking of others is welcomed by the resentful because it gives them temporary relief from their seething sadness. However, the relief is exceedingly temporary, giving way to increases in attacks from them in both frequency and intensity.

If you pray, pray for healing for the resentful and a willingness of them to heal their own “buttons” and repair their broken windows. The more we have that, the less access evil has to affect them and those of us around them.
