I don’t think it’s useful to say you’re Black first or a woman first because you are always both at the same time and having both identities always shapes how you’re perceived and treated

No, 50% of the people *arrested* under suspicion for violent crime are Black people.
47% of the people exonerated for being arrested under the suspicion of violent crime are Black though.
Associating skin tone with masculinity or femininity makes no sense. This is why why I find it counterproductive when women say they prefer dark skinned men for those reasons, it just reinforces stereotypes and feels harmful all around.
