@sipeachem@supertanskiii@BrexitBuster IIRC, the result was swerved by "The Establishment" who went with naming ship "Sir David Attenborough".
If 'The Establishment' is really involved, they will ignore a Binface win & put Farage back in. Which doesn't play to his narrative. Farage will remain a joke either way
@LeeHurstComic For once I agree 100%.
Even pointing at Makerfield doesn't help, because that just smells like the same whataboutery that people say all the other parties do instead of making a difference.
Farage's speech "I have decided that people of Clacton will be judge"? Arrogance or what
@RoyMartin313667@LeeHurstComic Guilty people often say the case against them is rigged. I make no claim, but I distrust any theory that can't be disproved. If he's cleared, he didn't break rules. If he's not, it's a fit up. (What about other possibility- *he broke rules*?)
@andrewlawrence They all think Clacton is worth the bother, Andrew, that's why they're all going to stand in the recall election they're expecting after Farage's dodgy finances get condemned by ongoing standards investigation. Reform knows this; it's why they offered to cover costs (illegally)
Privately educated, former City trader, been an elected politician and/or key party figure &/or leading campaigner since 1999.
And we are supposed to believe Farage is the *anti-*establishment candidate??
@CTOFPO@terrychristian Presumably because they think it's an Establishment fit-up & foregone conclusion.
That's the trouble with conspiracy theories- there's no way to prove them wrong. If no wrongdoing is found, he's a saint. If it is, he's a martyred saint. It's essentially faith based.
@Grapefruit_Juce@mikegalsworthy@Nigel_Farage They're all waiting for the recall election they expect to see after the standards investigation concludes. Farage expects the same outcome, or else why bother with this rehearsal by-election against Binface & an unemployed actor?
@Nigel_Farage Unfortunately, Mr F, people subject to legal investigation don't get to choose who decides their case. If you win against Count Binface, investigation will resume. If you lose, your career in public life ends & investigation will resume anyway now you've given it extra profile.
@supertanskiii I just cottoned on to Farage's "I have decided the people of Clacton should be the judge..." from his speech. Such arrogance! Since when did the subject of an investigation get to decide who judges it?
Like the devil saying "only the good people of Sodom & Gomorrah can judge me"
@anon_opin Does out of stock mean not on the shelf or not in the store (ie good be at goods in, or on the truck that pulled in just before your obesycle whirred into the store
"Hands up if you're a self-important prick that nobody voted for, who spouts non-stop bollocks while calling himself a shadow minister in a position he bought his way into"

@Mofoman360 I tried looking for the posts you made when Sunak, Truss, Johnson & May, Brown, Major, Callaghan & others were all promoted the same way, but after wading through bikini photos of minor celebs I only got back as far as May 2026. Shall I just assume your principled opposition?
