@DudeAdhd 2/2 Autism is difficult to define. There are no behaviours that are universal to autistics that are never seen within the non-autistic population. However, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try and improve understanding. This was my attempt in 2018, written for my doctoral thesis:

It is small and the family feel environment in which teachers can cater to individual learning styles is perfect for many with SEND. Over 40% of the student population on the SEN register, including several with EHCPs.
