@sophiadreamu4 @tonysimons_ I used it for brainstorming. Chunked a great book on brainstorming techniques/methodologies. The chunking allows for progressive disclosure - so it only loads in the technique being used into context. It's useful because it doesn't need to know about all 50 at once.

@Teknium @fhreire @NousResearch It was already able to do that with /learn from previous version :) (I'm on 18.02) The chunking is what makes the difference. Did it manually with marker-pdf.

@NousResearch Besides brainstorming it can extend in whatever area you like. Cooking / law / coding and so on. Books are human's best form of distilled knowledge. And within an agent harness that knowledge can be properly used.

Improved book chunking, it requires a bit more manual work and time. But marker-pdf is definitely the best pdf to .md converter out there. Chunking is based on the rich data the .md provides, obv works best with well structured books. So prob will also keep the "dumb" chunking.

@NousResearch And this made me think: this is a great and easy way to make smaller local models smarter. By giving it curated content, chunk based. As a human you also didn't read every book on any given subject, you curate what you read. You read what you like, what's relevant, what's good.

@SamJWasserman Really cool. Makes sense that somebody from the industry saw this gap. And actually build it. The future is open source and less slop with stuff like this.

@deanwball Maybe in the future you could write shorter posts. It may be an interesting strategy for people to actually read instead of all these TLDR essays where you use a lot of words and don’t get to the point. For someone leading strategic futures, you come off surprisingly defensive.

@ericlu Did you create the glyphs of the font? If not, you did not "create" a font. But rather took a font and applied a clipping mask and a motion effect on it.

Not a piece of paper. Find out what your kids are passionate about and focus on that. And some general knowledge ofc.
