"You tell us that we are more than employees, that we are partners. A true partnership includes equal say. We want to truly be partners in practice and not just in name." We welcome our partners at the Crossgates Mall Starbucks in Albany, NY, to the movement!
Just over 6 months ago, 50 workers in Buffalo, NY decided to organize. Fast forward half a year later, and there are now OVER 180 unionized Starbucks stores across the country and OVER 300 stores that have filed for elections. THIS is what a worker powered movement can do.
A reminder that in close to six months it will be the 10-year anniversary of the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting and since that day Congress has not passed a single piece of gun control legislation.
there are just no fucking words that capture the horror and insanity of more than a dozen children being shot to death in their elementary school. especially when it’s not the first time it’s happened. especially when you know nothing will change as a result.
"This is nothing more than a pro-Starbucks campaign. We want nothing more than to work together with Starbucks in a healthy collaboration to improve the experiences of all of our partners. Joining Starbucks Workers United allows us to begin doing so." Welcome, Albany partners!
I am so excited to announce that MONTERO DELUXE (featuring Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, Tyler the Creator, NBA Youngboy, Saucy Santana, and more!)
WILL BE YOURS TONIGHT at 7P EST!

Congrats to the Latham Plaza partners on becoming the first Starbucks in the Capital District of NY to launch a union campaign! Albany is the most unionized city in the U.S. -- it's time that's true in the coffee & restaurant industry, too!
I can’t believe a year ago I was stressed about going into so much debt for law school, starting over in a new city and now my law education will cost less than a year at my undergrad school 🥺 everything happens for a reason kids
