@itzyaagirrl BG has grown into far more than the plantation it once was. The Gullah Geechee programs/ members do a phenomenal job of educating, informing, & entertaining through wonderful culture and art! Ron Daise is an exceptional man, and has done amazing things for BG, and our state!

@itzyaagirrl I grew up, and still live in the gardens today. The hate/comments my family receives on a regular basis just for “residing” here is astonishing. While I cannot vouch for what Brookgreen Gardens once stood for, I can say that is an ever changing place.
