Sending out prayers and condolences to the family of Dr. Jorge L. Figueroa, who passed away today. He was a staunch supporter and good friend of the Seahawks during his time as a faculty member in the College of Health and Human Services.

Never met anyone that loved, lived, and breathed basketball like @KailaCraven_10. If you know her, you know this for a fact. Classy way to send her out. Good job @AppStateWBB.

I’m starting a couple days of vacation today, but before I sign off I’d like to share the StarNewsVarsity Athletes of the Decade! I’m sure we missed some worthy athletes. But we feel this group - in no order - stood out from the rest. https://t.co/UsCGauF71w

I was asked today by a colleague "What is one thing I would tell to young coaches coming into the field?"

Answer: Be able to ADAPT.

Without adaptability (preferably quickly), you can't thrive. Not in this profession. Change is ordinary, actually.
