Everyone's presentations (including Anthony's) look super good and colorful. I really enjoyed reading everyone's personal experiences and new tips and tricks. #fys05xu
I really like all the blue and the theme Breyden used in his Prezi. The only thing I would say is to break up the larger paragraphs into smaller ones. Other than that I like the design and how much information he gave. #fys05xu
I really liked Anthony's project. The font and style is super cool and colorful. I really liked your study habits, they are helpful and many of us use them. #fys05xu
@polotennis1 I think her family is going to be super upset with her and still not see her side of things. Binti’s family should be proud and I understand, traditionally speaking, they won’t be. I don’t think they will forgive her or be proud of her accomplishments. #fys05xu
I’m very surprised the Meduse went along with Binti’s plan to get the stinger back. I’m really happy that the chief got his stinger back. I wonder why the professors wanted Okwu to stay as a student though. Why? #fys05xu
Is Binti growing tentacles or what is going on with her hair? I am so lost by the part of the story. I feel bad for her though, she’s in a new place and is adjusting not well I feel like. At least she has Okwu. #fys05xu
@KalystaHumenik I was confused as well. I think the Meduse stung her and that is how she could later on talk to the Meduse. The sting gave her the new hair stuff she is growing too. #fys05xu
I am not really following Binti so far. Due to the fact it takes place in such a different environment than Earth, it is hard to grasp. I hope to learn more about it throughout the book though and understand Binti and her universe. #fys05xu
@Breydenfys I’m shocked that everyone dies, but her. She’s a smart girl and figures out how to survive for a short while, but how does she end up not dying? #fys05xu
@polotennis1 I didn’t see this at all either. I feel bad she’s the only human left. I wonder what she’s going to and how the Meduse react to her. Will they eventually kill her? #fys05xu
@ShanayaJay16 The octopus analogy also helped me understand how much sci-fi is really out there to read or watch. The analogy made it clear to me that sci-fi can be made up of many different elements and components. #fys05xu
@KalystaHumenik I agree with the what if. I never thought of a sci-fi as a what if. She gave me a new perspective on sci-fi and I really like her take on the genre. #fys05xu
In Pumzi, how much Asha sacrificed for a plant is really heart warming. I also liked how one of the workers helps her escape. Asha is determined and risks everything for a small plant. I wonder what her dream about the big tree meant. Is the tree real and out there? #fys05xu
In the TedTalk I really enjoyed Nnedi’s personal stories about Nigeria and how Nigeria gave her so much inspiration to write. I also liked hearing samples from her books. Sci-fi should include all types of people and places, not just white people as she states. #fys05xu
@HannahMartin15x I was not surprised that Wren asked to be roommates. The pair has grown so close. I’m glad Cath is rooming with Reagan again though. I think she will really step out of her shell and Reagan does that for her. #fys05xu
@Kendall68698705 I did not like the ending. I wish we got to see something big and exciting happen or we got to read part of Cath's fiction writing assignment. I wonder why Rowell ended the book with text from the Simon Snow book. #fys05xu
Did you like the ending? Do you wish you knew what Cath wrote about in her fiction writing assignment? Who was your favorite character in the book and why? #fys05xu
@HannahMartin15x I am glad she is giving Cath another chance as well. I think Cath needs to be pushed in order to show her true potential. I am wondering what she will write. Will it be a fantasy world or a story based in real life? #fys05xu
