I realize that our country's corporations love ripping off their consumers. I wish I knew how to stop it. I know I will do my very best never to buy an @Apple product again. Sent a 4yo MacBook Pro in to have a bulging battery replaced. They refused to replace it without also
replacing the LCD screen, which they said had a small scratch on it. Basically holding it hostage for another $600, because they wonβt do βpartial repairs.β When I complained that this was unfair treatment and asked for an apology of behalf of Apple, the βhigh-level" supervisor,
@juliairzyk I have a friend w/ long haul Covid (severe: she is now no longer a vital 35-yr-old) & know many people at high risk if they contract this disease. What I don't get - besides the obvious selfishness factor - is why ANYone would be ok with risking the after-effects. Mind-boggling.
I still feel like this is just a continuation of 2020, but I'll mark the occasion of putting up my new "Thoughts of Dog" calendar by sharing my holiday postcard. Can you name all the animals? HNY! https://t.co/hjRdHDjcp7
Forced into replacing 1-year-old a/c-heater window unit b/c @LGUS would not provide the part needed to repair it (repairs all out of my pocket, not theirs). It continues to astonish me how big corps can treat their customers -- their reason for existence -- so poorly. #nomoreLG
@20lv20@danicamckellar I am not a big fan of spiders, they terrify me, but this made me cry. And the spider she caught is actually quite beautiful, so thereβs that tooβ¦
Apparently, it is OK for a pharmacist at @cvspharmacy
to not wear a mask if they βhave a medical reason.β And that means itβs OK for that pharmacist to come in contact with patients, handle my medication, my prescription bottles, and risk my health & CVS says thatβs OK. #nope
