😿🫂My friends, we are a long way away from fixing our shelter, and I worry about the upcoming weather and what will happen to the animals. I would do anything to go back to the days when it was still a safe and operational structure, before the war took it all away. My children and I become very sad when we walk or drive around and see the animals on the streets, so skinny and they all look so sad. They carry grief and trauma with them like we all do, my friends. My first purchase for the shelter will be for iron sheets for the roof, but this will be expensive, and its only part of what we will need. Wood, wire and lots of other supplies will be needed to make a safe and secure shelter for the animals, and then we can take in and care for more of these sweet and innocent souls. I truly hope you can help me achieve this goal, my friends. It's not just the animals I worry about, my neighbourhood is still filled with thousands of people in tents, and the winter is harsh and destructive and I hate thinking of them living out there, so close and so desperate. We must not forget the starving and vulnerable in Gaza, my friends. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers, and please support us if you possibly can. Take care of yourselves, my friends.. 🫂

NEW | The Israeli occupation has issued a ban order against Palestinian photojournalist Majdi Al-Abbasi, prohibiting him from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque for one week, with the possibility of extending the ban for up to six months.
He has also been ordered to return to an Israeli police station after the week passes to receive a potential renewal of the ban.
The decision follows his detention last Friday by Israeli occupation police inside the mosque’s courtyards during Friday prayers, after which he was released following several hours of interrogation.
At least 15 Palestinian journalists have been banned from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque since the beginning of Israel’s ongoing genocide on Gaza.
These bans are widely seen as arbitrary measures aimed at silencing journalists and obstructing their work in documenting Israeli attacks against Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem.
remember when they fired melissa barrera from this franchise and smeared her name because she spoke out against israel’s ongoing genocide of palestinians
🐾😸I'm happy to tell you that today I was able to buy more tinned tuna for the cats, and the cost was the lowest it's been in months. This is thanks to the wonderful friends who have continued their support for us, and I want to sincerely thank you all. I can't explain enough how wonderful it feels when I can feed more of the hungry cats I see around. Since the war stopped, many animals have wandered back into our streets, and they are starving and urgently need our help. They are constantly on my mind, especially at night in the cold. They barely have any body fat to keep them warm, and the nights are starting to become unbearably cold. This also makes me think of all the poor people living outside, some in tents and some without, freezing and hungry. We want to help them, my friends, please do not hesitate to donate towards our cause so we can help them and the animals too. I truly appreciate everything you do for us and for all the people of 🇵🇸🌿#Gaza who have been through and continue to endure hell, and I wish you all a happy and healthy week in front of you.. 🫂

This mother cat and her two kittens came to my tent hungry.
I decided to keep them with me in the tent, feed them, and take care of them.
Please help me buy food for them.

Dozens of Members of Congress are demanding that Israel free American child Mohammed Ibrahim from prison. Find out if yours signed this letter and thank them for demanding Mohammed's freedom: https://t.co/8ljOd2jaQB
🇵🇸🙏🕊When we prayed for days like these, where birds can fly and people can walk the streets, I did not anticipate the great level of desperation we would all be in, my friends. Less frequent donations combined with rising costs are a risk to us all, as families continue to fight to survive against hunger and dehydration. Aid is not entering in the vast quantities needed, and our markets are just as empty as before. It is a desperate sight, my dear friends. Thousands more have poured back into 🌿🇵🇸#Gaza City, returning to find their homes destroyed or badly damaged. Everyone needs something they do not have, and nobody can begin to afford it. I am very depressed at our situation, while also being incredibly grateful that the violence around us is gone. The poor animals have no one either, nobody to speak for them and help them through these terrible conditions. I wish I could do more, my dear friends. Please do not abandon us now, you have been our life and light through the hell we have gone through. If you could donate a little to our cause, I would be so grateful and happy. It brings calm to my soul to help others, and I hope you can help me with this, my dear friends.. 🙏🫂

🇵🇸🕊It is difficult to comprehend life after the war, especially when we still live under such chaos, my friends. The streets are filled with tired faces, people who have had their entire lives shattered completely, who are now tasked with rebuilding everything. The air is filled with grief, and also hope, as we finally begin to look towards tomorrow, not just surviving each minute. We in 🇵🇸🕊🌿#Gaza are still very scared, because we know the situation can flip in a moment, and our lives will change again. I can only pray that the war never returns, my friends, because that is the only say I have in the matter. They are not concerned with our lives, but to us, each moment is a miracle, a distant hope we never thought we could achieve. I wanted to thank you again, because we only survived thanks to you, my dear friends. I must ask you again for your continued assistance, because everything is still expensive and difficult to come by. More people are returning to our destroyed neighbourhood, and I'd like to help them, and more animals are appearing in the streets who need someone to look out for them. Your support is a lifeline to us, to them, and to the people who have nothing to their name. I appreciate you, my friends. You are wonderful and loyal and I will never forget you as long as I live.. 🙏

We are tentatively happy and excited, my friends. 🥹We erupted with joy like everyone in Gaza, but unfortunately, the night was brutal and punishing in response to our joy. The bombing was the worst yet.💔 I pray that things progress well so that we can finally live freely.🙏 None of us really trusts anyone involved in this peace, but it is our only chance of hope, and so we must place hope into this with all of our hearts. To have a full night's sleep, with no bombs or shots, oh my heart is full with so much anticipation.♥️ I hope we do not die here, it feels like we are on the edge of living or dying. Please keep us in your prayers, my dear friends. Please do not forget to support us too, because we still need you very badly so my family can live through this very difficult time. I appreciate your assistance and help for us after so much time, and my wife and Maria are very happy and grateful to you too. 🫂
