@gabem_p there have been studios of animators that don't have the budget to be able to finish something in a timely fashion, and they've used things like framegen and other tools to help with that. i personally support that kind of thing
i believe if it's being used as a tool to improve your work, it should be fine. for example, take synthv's auto-tuning features. they're using machine learning as well (just not generative) and i hear nobody bickering about it. but if you're creating brainrot, it's obviously bad
@gabem_p i personally label other tools like upscaling, stuff like stem separators, frame gen, etc. as unproblematic as well. i never said i supported generative ai, obviously that's a bad thing. (1/2)
