@sarafradette@ramaloohoo Also, contraception can fail. There’s up to a 23% failure rate…

Why focus on trying to tell women what to do with their embryos when there are living humans that are at risk of dying because the US doesn’t consider access to healthcare a human right? 👀
@sarafradette@ramaloohoo Some young people don’t have sufficient education surrounding contraceptive use as many schools in conservative states, and many private schools, still only teach abstinence only education, despite the fact they know young people are having sex
@sarafradette Except abortion an EMBRYO is different than killing a HUMAN that has been born. Until you agree that we need universal healthcare, common sense gun reform, & mental health reform, don’t pretend you care about protecting human life. I’ll leave it at that
@sarafradette Saying people have to be responsible for their actions is bullshit. The person who ends up responsible for their parent’s actions is the baby who might have to grow up living in poverty with unfit parents, or going from foster home to foster home, or much worse.
@sarafradette Most people do not wait until marriage to have sex. And regardless, just because you’re married and have sex, it doesn’t necessarily mean you want to have a baby. Contraception sometimes fails—condom breakage, slippage, or improper usage is more common than you think
Jazz artists come on down to play with the amazing @julianberkowitz trio TWO times this month at #RightProperShaw. Jazz Jam sessions are Thursday June 9th + 23rd 8-11pm.
NEW: Marjorie Taylor Greene— who is accusing Democrats of “child grooming”— has hired far-right Milo Yiannopoulos as an intern. Yiannopoulos has advocated for legalizing sex between 13-year-olds and adults because he says 13-year-olds are not children and are “sexually mature.”
Ugh. And as usual, Congress will do nothing to prevent this from happening again. Conservatives will try to feed us the “guns are not the problem” bullshit because the twisted @NRA owns Congress. #GunControlNow#BanAssaultWeaponsNow#VoteBlueToSaveOurKids
@sarafradette Then I’m not sure why you’re opposed to solutions that have been proven to work in other countries. Arming teachers or arming security guards in schools on the other hands, has been proven to have no positive impact on school shootings:

@sarafradette Countries with stricter gun laws have almost no school shootings. I don’t really understand how you could argue gun rights are more important than the lives of children in our country. You said we need a savior, implying Jesus. Jesus would want to prevent the death of children.🤦🏻♂️
@sarafradette The Texas shooter legally bought 2 AR platform rifles and 375 rounds of ammunition. No civilian should be allowed to purchase these sort of weapons or that much much ammunition legally. There’s a simple common sense reform that could have prevented this.
@sarafradette I think it’s easy to day a solution won’t work if you’ve never been willing to try it. And stricter gun laws seems to have worked in every country that had tried it. The Netherlands are a great example…
@sarafradette All studies show that the most guns in any given the more likely gun violence occurs,whether on purpose or a 3 year old accidentally picking up a gun and shooting himself. Your argument doesn’t make any sense to me. Why are you against reforming our gun laws?
