Postdoc in social-cognitive neuroscience on the Becoming Social ERC project
Demystifying the social brain by studying social perception & social learning
Excited to share my first neuroimaging paper, working with the wonderful @gnomicbrain , @JuliaPostdocs and Paul Downing, we investigated the role of motion in social interaction perception

In 2016, a woman (age 54 at the time) contacted us who was living without her left temporal lobe. She didn't know about her missing temp. lobe until age 25. She never experienced any head trauma/injury, so the temp. lobe was likely lost as a result of pre/perinatal stroke. 1/n
Just me today wondering when I'll be ever be able to walk past this sculpture on a more regular basis. It was lovely to be on campus today and I am very much hoping for better days to come soon! @PsychBangor@BangorUni
Exciting day of talks ahead! Starting with Elizabeth Warrington prize winner 2021, @BinneyRJ on "A semantics framework for understanding social interaction in both health and disease" 🤩 #BNSspring2021
So thrilled to be guest editing a Frontiers research topic with @LironRozenkrant, @actpredictlab, and @PhilCorlett1 on “prediction across action, perception, cognition, and clinical disorders. Have a relevant manuscript? Join us! https://t.co/wqc6LDuj7S
I am looking for a PhD student to join the lab in September/October 2021. Experience with EEG or fMRI, programming and motivation to do fundamental research with possible clinical relevance highly desirable. https://t.co/fnPXf1qs2p @PsychBangor@BIG_fMRI
Excited to share the latest preprint with @leylaisi
We show that naturalistic social interaction perception recruits dedicated neural circuity in the STS and is a crucial dimension for social understanding.

@KangTarandeep @primate_em From what I understand, the type of clot is actually rare (cerebral venous sinus thrombosis), occuring usually in 4 in every million people annually whereas Germany has seen 4/million since February. So definitely a case to investigate weighing benefits vs risks...
I'm releasing all the lectures (so far) for my deep learning class, CS182! This is an introductory deep learning course (advanced undergraduate + graduate) covering a broad range of deep learning topics.
