@egpayne Finally a spotlight on the care of older Canadians in acute care! So much emphasis on LTC inspection, regulation and accountability, what about hospitals? We are well aware of hallway healthcare but when there are seniors in those beds, the outcomes are so much worse.
@AnthonyBass52 It’s common courtesy to clean up after yourself/kids on a plane or elsewhere. I understand being pregnant makes it difficult to bend and pick things up (I’ve been there) but then be more vigilant to get the kids to contain their mess. Or have the kids pick it up!
@GTarkten8519 @juliazukowski@MercyhurstU I think the other responses said it all but, one more for the effect….girl you didn’t seriously mean that did you? You sound entitled and lack judgment and compassion. Did you see “wheelchair” or “assistive devices” parking signs anywhere? You can’t be that ignorant, can you?
@Leicnut A good ole fashion root cause analysis would be good here. By whom are they being referred? Is it lack of knowledge? Is it one area? As a healthcare admin, I don’t see this as a pervasive problem, so you may have to look locally 🤷🏻♀️
@ashleyiaco I agree. Even though I did not agree with Tino’s actions or reasoning, I don’t think he should have been shamed and disrespected so publicly . Tit for tat is not for grown ups
@TorontoStar@reggcohn Long term - home care planning, immigration and credentialing policies to get more healthcare workers as we don’t have enough bodies that want to work in the sector. What about technology to create efficiencies? So much duplication
