As we are likely all well aware by now, oil and even more so natural gas off the Gaza coast has got the fossil duel industry salivating, so its to no surprise at all that the occupying apartheid state of Israel has granted drilling licences in Gazan territory and one of those happy to pick one up and take some sweeteners on top has been BP.
Well, when you do stuff like that you do kind of invite protest and Fossil Free London turned up on their HQ doorstep to let them know exactly what they thought of them, taking illegally granted licences, enabling the occupation and doing deals with an Israeli conglomerate blacklisted by the UN for aiding settlers in the West Bank, well, I'd call that asking for it. #DamoRants #GazaNews
