Today, we pay tribute to Pope Francis.
He welcomed refugees & the homeless where others turned their backs.
He called for peace — in Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, the DRC & beyond — where others cheered for war.
His humanity is an inspiration to us all, and he will be greatly missed.

Take it in. The first female chancellor. The first housing secretary who's actually lived in social housing. The first education secretary who was on free school meals. An energy secretary who actually believes in aggressively fighting climate change. Not a bad afternoon.
Security is being able to put food on the table. It’s having a roof over your head. It’s leaving behind a habitable planet for our children.
And it’s about getting along with our neighbours so we can build a more peaceful world for all.
