@Hon_Manii The act of living modestly is the key to life of smooth living without much societal pressure. Here you can build consistently without destroying yourself in the process.
I have experienced setbacks in my life. I have been through difficult times in my life. I have been through harsh seasons.
The rain has bedraggled me, and the sun has scourged me. I have passed through fire and ice. I have walked on thorns, and my feet have been blistered. Life has dealt cruelly with me.
But still, I rise. Still, my head remains unbowed. Still, I don't allow my problems to destroy me. Still, my faith doesn't waver, and my belief remains untainted.
It may be rough, but out of that roughness, I will forge smoothness.
Because still, I rise!!!
@Onomz_D1 I can agree with with on this. But we still have to be up and doing as a people. Our foundations are mostly our problems. Even in these country there are people doing greatly well.
@BalogunSonia4 Nowadays the wisdom of Solomon is useless without money. Eccl 9:16 says that wisdom is better than strength, yet the wisdom of the poor is often dismissed and ignored. The benefits of wisdom is to make wisdom work for your financial growth.
What do you do when you have done something for years and there is no result to show for it?
The results we get sometimes may not be because of what we do but because of how we do what we do.
You can be doing something for years and still be doing it wrong. You can be going somewhere meaningful but taking the wrong road.
So, you have to always analyse your progress. The quality of the questions you ask yourself and the answers you get matters a lot in determining the quality of your life. You also have to be honest about the feedback you receive.
The problem may not be the things you do but how you do them.
@john322226 It's confusing how parents allow their children to marry old men these days. All this is because of money. What can a 74 years old person offer an 18 years old girl if not money? Because, obviously he can't satisfy the little child sexually.
A man dating a single mother should understand that he is not automatically the father of her child. But that doesn't mean he should have no authority to correct a child who is living under the same roof with him.
A relationship is about partnership, and partnership requires mutual respect. If a woman expects a man to accept the responsibilities that come with dating her, she should also be willing to discuss the responsibilities and boundaries that come with raising a child together.
However, there is a difference between correcting a child and beating a child. A man doesn't have to use violence to demonstrate authority, and no child should be subjected to physical abuse.
The woman also needs to understand that constantly undermining her partner whenever he tries to address a child's unacceptable behaviour can create serious problems in the relationship. At the same time, the man must understand that being a partner doesn't give him unlimited power over someone else's child.
The real issue here is not who has the greater authority. It is whether two adults can agree on how to raise a child, respect each other's boundaries and protect the child's well-being.
If they cannot agree on something as fundamental as this, ending the relationship may be the most sensible decision. A child should not have to live in the middle of a constant power struggle between two adults.
There is this urge that comes with a downfall: you urgently want to get back at your feet.
Because you want to get back at your feet at all cost you make more mistakes. This is because you are too much in a hurry to stand.
Take it easy.
You will see clearly
