"Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3
This principle in choosing a spouse is very, very important.
Don't just marry because he or she is a believer. If the person you want to marry does not agree with you doctrinally, don't marry.
If you believe in the finished work of Christ and the other person is "enemy die by fire, fire, fire," your prayers will be considered weak and "butter prayers" to them. To avoid issues over prayer, don't marry that person.
If you are person that sees prayer as fellowship and the person you want to marry sees every prayer as warfare to bind rats, cats etc don't marry them to avoid dramas
If the person you want to marry believes life is full of warfare and that rats are demons incarnate, and you are the opposite, don't marry because both of you cannot agree.
If the person you want to marry is chasing after mantles of the father, and you are someone grounded in the New Covenant who knows that the Holy Spirit in you is enough, don't marry such a person to avoid unnecessary arguments and fights.
If you believe in Grace and the other person believes in works a mixture of two covenants don't marry them.
You must marry someone you can walk with, agree with, and see from the same perspective.
@iam__Jezreel But thank God Jesus in his death burial and resurrection has made salvation from hell available
When one believes in his death burial and resurrection he is saved from hell
He becomes seated with Christ in heaven at that very moment ๐๐
Sometimes I often imagine God's expression. No wonder the Bible says, "He who sits in the heavens laughs" (Psalm 2:4).
It's remarkable to see the many different camps that exist today:
One camp believes they are not truly saved until they die and find out.
Another believes those who worship on Sunday will go to hell.
Another believes what God accomplished through Christ on the cross was not enough.
Another believes Jesus is not God.
Another believes the Father and the Son are two separate beings seated on different thrones.
Another believes Jesus is leading praise and worship with the angels to God.
Another is chasing after the "mantle" of a spiritual father.
Another is fasting to receive the very power Christ freely purchased for us through His death, burial, resurrection, and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Another believes there is no eternal security.
Another believes they can lose their salvation.
Another believes God is punishing them with sickness and death.
Another camp believes that sexual sin is the only sin while minimizing every other sin.
And many of these same camps fight against the Gospel of Grace the very gospel Jesus died for us to receive and the same apostolic doctrine preached by the apostles calling it demonic.
Yet, in the midst of all the confusion, Christ remains the center. The finished work of Jesus has not changed because people's opinions have changed.
The Gospel of Grace does not diminish holiness; it establishes Christ as the source of righteousness, salvation, and transformation. It is not about what man contributes but about what God has accomplished in Christ.
Indeed, "He who sits in the heavens laughs." God is not threatened by the confusion of men. His purpose stands forever, and His Son remains the only foundation.
All things exist for His pleasure and according to His purpose. As for me, I rejoice in the Gospel that exalts Jesus above human traditions, religious systems, and self-effort. Christ is enough.
The only true camp is the camp that centers on Jesus and His finished work, the gospel of Grace
So back then I was told not to pray by 12am but to shift it to 2am when the witches in my street was either going out or returning back, can't fully remember which of it, I always woke up by that time to pray for the time as a babe in Christ.
Well let me put this out there to a believer that wants to grow and understand his or her identity in Christ.
Your day prayer is as powerful as your night prayers. Just fellowship with the Father, don't ever pray because of witches. Bible said you should cast them out, bind them, use authority on them.
Pray and enjoy fellowship to God
I agree gambling isn't a way out of poverty, most guys who bet know this
Betting isn't a sin just so you know , it should be just be done responsibly!
But you that preached sowing to God to make wealth or tithing to make money you're also a scam
Betting has more assurance than tithe sef ,many people have manipulated and sowed their last time make your pocket big
@ChristGChurch@Gloryneche1 This was Paul about the fruits of their faith in Christ, not that the good things saved them , because he told the jailer that salvation/forgiveness comes only by faith in Christ
Not by works
@ezeh_simon89034@Gloryneche1 ...and turn to Jesus for forgiveness, you actually the one that needs to repent from dead works and accept the sacrifice of Christ
Instead of portraying your ignorance to sound Doctrine with all due respect
@ezeh_simon89034@Gloryneche1 Without the shedding of blood there's no forgiveness, and he has offered his life , and you say it's by repentance, repentance is the word metanoia, it means to change your mind from one view to another, it was used mostly for the Jews to turn from the law and turn to Jesus
@ezeh_simon89034@Gloryneche1 Your the one that is preaching heresy
Revelation 1v5, starts with how the. Believer is washed from sin, and rev 3v5 speaks about he that overcometh, we have overcome by our faith in the blood of the of lamb
@Gloryneche1 Grace is the victory
I've never heard any grace preacher including Dr Abel Damina encouraging wrong conduct ,but they emphasize our power over sin
After all it's under grace that sin has no dominion over one not the law
@Gloryneche1 These people are very mischievous
How does grace promote wrong conduct
They don't understand how that when we preach grace which is the truth we see how we are dead to sin and have new life to produce righteous fruits
I've met some Christians who attend a particular church, and while we were discussing, I asked them who Jesus is. They said, "Jesus is the Son of God. He is lesser than the Father. He is not the main God. The Father and the Son sit on different thrones."
It made me ask myself: What is actually being taught in some of these big churches? Is it only "pray, pray, pray," stories about how the founder melted a mountain, or endless prayer points about "glory sitting on a banana tree"?
How can someone attend church for 25 years and still not know the God they are praying to?
The Bible does not present Jesus as a lesser deity. Jesus is God. Isaiah called Him "Mighty God" and "Everlasting Father" (Isaiah 9:6). John declared, "The Word was God... and the Word became flesh" (John 1:1, 14). Thomas worshiped Him, saying, "My Lord and my God" (John 20:28). Paul wrote that "in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily" (Colossians 2:9). Hebrews says of the Son, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever" (Hebrews 1:8).
Jesus is not a created or lesser god. He is the eternal Son who shares the very nature of the Father. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16). He is our great God and Savior (Titus 2:13).
The issue is not merely how long someone has attended church, but whether they have been taught the truth of Scripture. Every believer should search the Scriptures and know the Christ they believe in.
There is no perfect vessel, only vessels that believes in the gospel, receives the Holy Spirit and He works through us not based on our performance but because of the finished work of Christ, that's why He can never leave us! I mean never!
Thank you Jesus
