$3 MILLION of the EcoHealth alliance money went to the coronavirus project, with $500K going directly to Wuhan. The project was expanded through multiple labs and stages of development.

The money from these organizations went to Wuhan where a discovery of a rich gene pool of bat SARS-related coronaviruses gain-of-function research was being performed, leading to new insights into the origin of SARS coronavirus.

One report state:

"Predictive models of host range will be tested experimentally using reverse genetics, pseudovirus, and receptor binding assays, and virus infection experiments across a range of cell cultures from different species and HUMANIZED MICE."

This is just ONE thread of testing and creating a virus and making it transmissible to humans.
