1. If you are a whale in the project, rather than a regular holder, you are likely to receive a bonus.

2. Every week, Abstract X publishes the top 5 NFTs by volume that are worth holding.

3. Get as many badges and multipliers for boosts as possible. It's a small thing, but it helps.

4. Stick to verified memecoins. If you can become a whale in one of them, that's ideal, but also risky, as they are very volatile, so it's a compromise...

5. As for apps, I suspect that those that make it into Spotlight give a bonus. XP is based on ranking, so if you can climb high in the Spotlight app ranking, it will help a lot.
