i used to hate it too but honestly over the time i’ve realised that being compassionate and embarrassing yourself in pursuit of love in times like today’s is an act of bravery so i give myself more grace even though my love was unrequited.
I can never get rid of the things my exes have given me. I still have the card I got on valentine’s day from my first boyfriend when we were 14. dried flowers, a shirt from a recent one. polaroid & haiku from a relationship that changed me for the worse. all proof of love.
somewhere in your 20s or 30s you’ll get the opportunity to rebuild your life after a negative loop. its very important that you see that journey through

Who else does that neurodivergent plan of “I’m gonna catch up on and fix my whole life this weekend,” but then the weekend comes and you’re like, “I deserve a break from being in work mode Monday to Friday,” and you keep repeating the same thing every damn week.
