Hillary Clinton endorsed Joe Biden in a virtual town hall, saying the coronavirus crisis shows the need for different leadership: "Think of what it would mean if we had a real president, not just somebody who plays one on TV." https://t.co/eu60B3xwh3
Gov. Cuomo stood up and showed off an entire wall with thousands of creative homemade masks that were sent to his office.
“This is a self- portrait of America. Do you know what it spells? It spells love,” he said. “Politicians, try to be half as good as the American people”
Let's talk about priorities.
Sen. McConnell cares about bailing out:
-Airlines
-Big corporations
-Hotels
-Restaurant chains
-Public companies
State and local governments want $ to fund:
-Police
-Firefighters
-Nurses
-Food banks
-Social services
-Teachers
As we look forward there will be multiple levels of decisions.
Government will set the criteria for a phased reopening.
Businesses will reimagine their workplaces & protocols.
Individuals will make decisions on their own health.
We will build back better.
I work from early in the morning until late at night, haven’t left the White House in many months (except to launch Hospital Ship Comfort) in order to take care of Trade Deals, Military Rebuilding etc., and then I read a phony story in the failing @nytimes about my work....
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi endorsed Joe Biden for president on Monday, calling the former vice president "a leader who is the personification of hope and courage." https://t.co/17i4RhqRbx

This pandemic has painfully brought to the surface many of the reasons I launched @MBK_Alliance—structural racism robs too many of our kids of their futures. The leaders on today's call aren't just tackling this crisis; they’re helping us build a more equitable future for all.
NY has given $116 billion more to the federal government than we received since 2015.
Kentucky *took* $148 billion more from the federal government than it gave.
Just give NY our money back, Senator McConnell.
Por aquí dejo ooootra joya del presidente más pendejo del mundo! Y no, no me voy lentamente; me quedo para compartir su carcajada! Y si, 30 millones creyeron en un idiota como éste!
