The NHS midwife and health visitor system after a baby is born is one of the most genuinely supportive things this country does quietly and without fanfare. Top notch design 🙏🏼
I wish all my girlies get to give birth abroad.
The experience is wayyy different!!
Even me as healthcare giver in Nigeria, I couldn’t imagine this. The care here is too sweet!!!
babies really are miracles, gifts from God. cliche words. to look at your new baby is thrilling and mystifying and utterly humbling. what did i do to deserve this? i just split into two people, and now there is a new person in my family. intensely compelling.
No one really talks about the separation anxiety after having a baby. It feels like a piece of your heart is now outside your body. Your mind tells you it’s okay to put them down and take a moment, but your heart just wants them close to you.
Seun never saw that coming...
Mallam Buba Galadima is one veteran you have to give him his flowers when it comes to political debates, especially with his funny jibes and sleek deliveries...
I want my daughter to outdo me in every way. Be smarter. Go further. Heal faster. Win bigger. I’m not raising a mini-me, I’m raising an upgraded edition. A BETTER version 🥹🤍
Kaduna today:
No Kashim Ibrahim fellowship
No Kaduna marathon
No KABAFEST
No Kaduna international trade fair
No Kaduna Economic summit
No Electronic voting.
Kaduna is sinking and going backwards.
We’re used to seeing successful birth stories (with little to no complications) to a point where we forget that it’s only by God’s mercy that we’re able be see and hold our babies today. Allah ya raya mana su. Ameen Ya Allah
Tbh, Nigeria enjoyed some glory. The problem is that we’ve held on to that past glory with arrogance not realising that the world is passing us by. We’re poor, dirty and haggard but we sit on the streets proudly broken singing songs of how we used to be great.
Wake tf up!!!
