When you ask the universe to go
to the next level, don't be surprised
when every person preventing
progress is removed from your life. @ Lincoln, Nebraska https://t.co/GS06mYfG9e

“You can’t teach speed,” is in fact one of the dumbest statements in existence
✔️ Sprint at full speed regularly
✔️ Get strong AF
✔️ Sprint with heavy sleds
✔️ Sprint up hills
✔️ Build resilient & sound ankles, feet & calves
✔️ Hone your mechanics
The best strength coach in the world can’t out train a sport coach with low expectations, poor team culture, and inconsistent (or non-existent) discipline.
I don’t think we credit a calorie surplus enough for hypertrophy. People want a hypertrophy block as if someone how a larger calorie burn probably putting them in a greater deficit is going to make up for their lack of eating in the first place. Should hypertrophy start w/food?
Pete Carroll's 3 Rules:
1. Be Early
"It's all about being organized and showing respect."
2. Protect the Team
"Are you helping or hurting the team? Every decision has an impact."
3. No Whining, Complaining, Excuses
"Positive attracts positive. Negative attracts negative."
Reminders:
- It doesn’t matter how conditioned you are if you’re slow & weak
- It doesn’t matter how strong you are if you suck
- All the speed & power in the world is useless if you’re never healthy enough to display it
