Donald Trump’s FBI is now reviewing those files and will be releasing them shortly.

Golden Week is still with us, but somewhere in the distance, very faintly, the end is beginning to appear.

Not clearly, of course.

It is more like a shadow.
A calendar-shaped shadow.
Possibly carrying unread emails.
Across Japan, people are enjoying one more day of rest, travel, snacks, shopping, or the noble art of pretending not to know what comes after the holidays.
As for us?

CDJapan is still here.

Somehow.

At this point, we are no longer entirely sure whether we are working, resting, posting, or simply drifting through Golden Week with a browser tab open.

But since you are here too, perhaps that makes it all worthwhile.

What's that?

'Isn't the holiday almost over?'

Well now.

That is certainly one way to look at it.

Another way is to say that there is still time.
Still time to enjoy.
Still time to browse.
Still time for one more surprise before reality begins politely knocking on the door.
